Arm plastic surgery or brachioplasty

The relaxation of the inner face of the arms is often due to a variation in weight and especially to the thinness of the skin in this area.

The facelift of the inner face of the arms consists of re-tensioning the skin of the arms when it is relaxed, most often associated with liposuction when there is a residual excess fat.

In addition, the region contains an area of deep fat resistant to dieting. When there is excess fat with relatively good skin quality, liposuction alone may be sufficient. On the other hand, if the skin is relaxed, only a facelift can put it back in tension.

In important cases, social security coverage is possible.

DURATION OF INTERVENTION: 1h30
REHEARSAL / SUSTAINABILITY: 1 session
General anaesthesia
RETURN TO DAILY LIFE: 10-15 days
FINAL RESULT: 2 to 3 months after the operation

Post-operative consequences:

  • Bruising and edema may appear and resolve within 10 to 20 days of the operation.
  • The scar is often pinkish for the first three months and then usually fades after the third month, gradually over one to three years.
  • But it should not be exposed to the sun for 3 months.
  • A work stoppage of 1 to 3 weeks should be planned, depending on the nature of the professional activity
  • The practice of a sporting activity can be resumed gradually from the 6th postoperative week.
